Dr. Jillian Russnak grew up on a farm just outside of Viking and spent time in the clinic throughout her schooling. Jill spent 3 years in the Faculty of Agriculture at U of A before completing her DVM at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Upon graduation she spent one year practicing in Lloydminster before returning home to the Viking Vet Clinic in 2019. In 2022 Jill and Erin purchased the clinic together from the previous owner. She lives in Viking with her two springer spaniels, Ducky and Scout.

Pru is a 1991 WCVM grad who has practiced in Viking since graduation. Pru and her husband Kevin live and farm south of Viking as part of Maxwell Simmentals with their 2 sons and a daughter. Her main interests lie in beef and small animal practice.

Lauren graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2015. She has been practicing as a mixed animal veterinarian since graduation and particularly likes large animal medicine. In her spare time, Lauren can be found riding horses, playing hockey, or spending time with her cat "Jasper".

Erin graduated in 2009 from Olds College. In 2022 she purchased the clinic jointly with Dr. Russnak. She loves the experiences and challenges that mixed practice brings. She lives on a farm with her husband, four children and all of the critters.

Jenna graduated from Lakeland College in 2007. She grew up on a farm near Vermilion, AB and loves the variety of mixed animal practice. Jenna and her husband Clark live near Daysland with their two children

Cassie graduated from Lakeland College in 2013. She grew up on a farm near Irma, AB which ignited her passion for working with cattle. Her favourite seasons are preg testing and calving! Cassie also enjoys the many challenges of small animal surgery and anesthesia. Cassie and her husband Kris live near Viking with their three beautiful children

Erin graduated from Fairview College in 2014 and joined the Viking Veterinary Clinic in 2018. She enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice and has a special interest in behaviour. Erin and her husband Cooper live and farm near Irma with their two Australian Shepherds, Ryder and Maverick.

Updated Bio for Jenessa: Jenessa grew up in the country near Bodo Alberta and has always had a love for animals. After completing her practicum with us and graduating from Lakeland College in 2019, she has been a great addition to our team. She enjoys the variety a mixed animal practice has to offer and values creating connections with both owners and their animals.

Shelby is a farm girl from Daysland who loves rodeo, barrel racing and spending time at the farm with her horses. She graduated from Lakeland College in 2015.

Teagan grew up on a mixed cattle and grain farm north of Viking. She graduated from Lakeland College in 2018 with her Animal Health Technology Diploma. She was working in Camrose at a mixed animal practice before she joined us here in Viking in December of 2023. She enjoys spending her free time at the farm working, or being outdoors hunting and camping.
